The IRI In-Store Solution Suite, Perimeter View, is an audit-based service that delivers to you a comprehensive view of perimeter merchandising execution – a first in the CPG industry. With this unique display tracking service you will have access to data of unsurpassed granularity within two distinct modules: The cross-category database examines performance of more than 250 categories according to a standard category definition employed by IRI, down to the manufacturer level. The detail category database provides more information down to the UPC level in the categories you designate. The Perimeter View service is designed to provide CPG manufacturers with the depth and coverage required to measure and improve promotion effectiveness at retail. For each unique retail promotion, the associated products and location are recorded weekly, providing you detail you need to track both the quality and quantity of promotions.
