ShopperToday’s CPG industry is undergoing seismic shifts as the American shopper continues to cut costs in ways we haven’t seen in decades. Using pricing, trade, and promotion effectively is one of the critical ways CPG manufacturers and retailers can reach out to their consumers while staying ahead of the ever-shifting curve this economic downturn is creating.

Joining IRI is the natural continuation of my consulting and managerial work, which includes everything from pricing and marketing to brand repositioning sales effectiveness. My goal at IRI is to create strategic plans that can help our clients achieve revenue goals and create tight integration and alignment with our modeling and analytics solutions, furthering IRI’s tradition of creating a comprehensive view of the shopper for retailers and manufacturers alike.

The changing CPG landscape begs many questions. What is the future of the CPG industry, and how can my work position our clients for success? I look forward to sharing my thoughts and ideas on these issues with you on the blog, and I hope you continue to gain valuable information from us.

Take care, and thank you for the warm welcome.
